Saipems new mine warfare drone at Sea Future 2025

Stefano Meggio, head of defence at SAIPEM, introduces the new Hydrone-D drone designed to support mine countermeasures (MCM) operations. This system will equip the future Italian Navy mine warfare vessels. Meggio also presents the Hydrone-R and Hydrone-S systems dedicated to seabed warfare.

- Wow Saipem, what a surprice. Their technologies are at the very top of the world since the fiftyies. I've didn't expect they could enter the defence market, but now i am not wondering.
