Design: The design is based on the 2024 'Initium' concept and adopts Hyundai's new 'Art of Steel' design language, giving it a boxier, more rugged look compared to the previous model. Key exterior elements include H-shaped panels on the bumpers and 'HTWO' four-dot lights that represent the letter 'H' in Morse code. It is also longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor.
Performance and Range: The new model features an upgraded fuel cell stack, a larger 2.64 kWh battery pack, and a more powerful electric motor. The total power output is 201 horsepower, an increase from 161 hp in the previous generation. This results in a faster 0-62 mph acceleration time of 7.8 seconds. Hyundai is targeting a driving range of over 430 miles (~700 km) on a full tank of hydrogen, which takes only five minutes to refill.
Interior and Technology: The cabin features dual 12.3-inch displays (one for the driver, one for infotainment), a column-mounted gear selector, and slim seats to maximize interior space. Sustainable materials like bio-processed leather and recycled PET fabric are used throughout. New technology includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, V2L (vehicle-to-load) capability, and a generative AI voice recognition system.
