- As of now in late 2025. The B-52 will have out lived both the B-1 and B-2 bombers with the Air Force now producing the B-21 Raider- There is a B 52 on display inside the huge hanger at the SAC Aerospace Museum along interstate 80 between Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska.
- Worked the engine shop on H models and then G models, many of the H models that I worked on in the early 80's are still flying. A lot of engines, and a lot of work, I loved every minute of it, I miss them. Running water injection on a G at 2AM, had EVERYBODY awake, sound of freedom.
- B-52's did not carry a 100 megaton bomb. The largest bomb dedtonated by the US was 15 megatons, Castle Bravo. Could have been a 1 megaton bomb but not 100. Largest nuclear bomb detonate was the Czar Bomba 49 megatons.
