Where the road ends, Wilderness begins
Something new has arrived in Australia for those who feel most alive when the road runs out. Subaru Wilderness is a new kind of Subaru, purpose built for drivers who want to go further and explore places far beyond the ordinary.
The first to lead the way is the all-new Subaru Outback Wilderness. Tougher in stance, higher in clearance and engineered with capability you can feel the moment the terrain turns rough. It is more than a variant. It is a mindset for those who chase quiet horizons, dirt tracks, steep climbs and the kind of freedom that only exists away from the everyday.
If you have ever felt the pull of what lies beyond the bitumen, Wilderness is your invitation.
A look to match the attitude
The all-new Subaru Outback has been shaped by purpose. Every line, surface and proportion has been reimagined to express capability, confidence and discovery, the essence of what it means to be Subaru.
Its bolder, more distinct silhouette speaks to strength and utility, a form that is as functional as it is powerful. With a higher stance, 18-inch alloy wheels, purposeful cladding and a new LED headlamp design, it projects quiet authority, equally at home in the city or deep in the wild.
At the peak of this evolution sits the all-new Subaru Outback Wilderness, tougher in stance, sharper in attitude and ready for the untamed. Together, the all-new Subaru Outback range embodies purposeful design and genuine capability. Strength meets subtlety. Form follows function. And adventure begins the moment you step inside.

- I really don’t care about the outside design but I’m glad they brought back physical controls and retained the turbo engine. Will take one for a test drive eventually. Hope the tariffs don’t make the cost too high.- That infotainment/dash looks like something from a Toyota in 2015. The infotainment was definitely an afterthought.
- I am hoping in later production Subaru comes out with a Griswold edition in lime green with double head lights and double tail lights. Chevy Chase would be proud
