With its deep-cut AMG-specific radiator grille, voluminous air intakes and active aerodynamic profile made of carbon, even the front shows the GT Coupé's immense hunger for power. From the legendary AMG emblem, your eyes will be enticed to move along the elongated hood with its strongly contoured powerdomes. The flat windshield and low-slung greenhouse complete the energetic silhouette. Like perfectly defined muscles, the fenders reshape the wide rear end with the AMG-specific rear apron. Finally, the four-pipe exhaust system and the diffuser – an unmistakable ode to motorsport – create a striking finish and underpin the powerful design language.

Exterior design As sporty as it is cinematic
Mercedes-AMG proudly presents: the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 ‘APXGP Edition‘ in the design of the APXGP Formula 1® team from the movie, F1. The strictly limited edition of 52 vehicles is closely based on the star-studded film and finished in the special paintwork APXGP Edition.
The trick: numerous APXGP-specific designs have been painstakingly applied by hand based on the F1 film car paintwork. These include race gold accents on the frame of the AMG-specific radiator grille, on the front wings with a chequered-flag design, on the side skirts, rear apron and diffuser blade. The 21-inch cross-spoke AMG forged wheels are also painted in matte racing gold, forming a powerful contrast to the black brake callipers of the AMG ceramic brakes.
Three included AMG equipment packages – the AMG Exterior Carbon Fibre package, the AMG Aerodynamics package and the AMG Night package II – emphasise the proximity to motorsport while also enhancing the individual visual appearance of the ‘APXGP Edition‘. A whole range of highlights in carbon fibre or black chrome underscore the exclusive status of the edition and, in the case of the panoramic glass roof, offer a cinematic view.
Interior design As luxurious as it is glamorous
The distinctly sporty interior also stands out with sophisticated details in race gold. AMG performance seats are upholstered in black Nappa leather/MICROCUT microfibre and accented with gold-coloured topstitching.
The AMG trim elements in carbon fibre with gold-coloured threads harmonise with the AMG Performance steering wheel in MICROCUT microfibre and race gold-coloured topstitching. These can be also found on the door panels, the instrument panel and the centre console. The MANUFAKTUR door sill trims with AMG lettering are black anodised and illuminated in gold – while black AMG floor mats feature an elegant leather patch with the ‘APXGP’ logo in race gold.
Rounding off the luxurious ambience is the Burmester High End 3D Surround Sound System, offering 15 loudspeakers and 1,170 watts of power, as well as intelligent features such as a 360° camera, driving assistance package and head-up display. AMG TRACK PACE, which provides a wealth of data, is ideal for the racetrack. And the ‘Limited Edition 1 of 52’ badge in the centre console, which indicates the limited edition of the special model, is perfect for prestige.

It’s a low end torque monster but a bit more HP would be perfect- My 55 is 489, software update from dealer can jack hp over 600 check with your dealer, all the v8 bi-Turbo’s are identical and hp is only restricted by software restrictions
