Key Features of the All-New Nissan LEAF
The next-generation Nissan LEAF has been significantly updated with a new design, improved performance, and advanced technology.
Design: The vehicle features a modern, athletic crossover silhouette that enhances aerodynamic efficiency. Design elements include a sleek front, flush front door handles, and unique 3D rear lighting.
Performance & Range: The new LEAF offers a smooth, responsive, and quiet ride. It comes with two liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery options:
52 kWh battery: Offers an EPA-estimated range of around 220-230 miles (estimated for the base S trim) and a 147 hp motor.
75 kWh battery: Available on the higher trims (S+, SV+, Platinum+), it provides up to an EPA-estimated 303 miles of range and a 214 hp motor.
Charging: It now features the North American Charging Standard (NACS) port for DC fast-charging, allowing a recharge from 10% to 80% in as little as 35 minutes. It also has Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, which allows the car's battery to power external devices.
Interior & Tech: The cabin has a refined, minimalist layout with available dual 14.3-inch screens featuring Google built-in (Google Maps, Google Assistant, etc.). It includes standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a dimming panoramic roof option, and up to 55.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats folded down.
Safety: Every trim comes standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360°, a comprehensive suite of advanced safety and driver-assist technologies. Available features include ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link for assisted highway driving.
