MSO CHROMATIC LAYERED FINISH. A NEW DIMENSION OF BESPOKE PAINT
Created specifically for this collaboration, MSO’s Chromatic Layered Finish marks a significant step forward in bespoke car paint innovation. Multiple translucent coats build colour gradually, allowing light to interact with the surface in a way that reveals subtle variations in tone, depth and character.
For the first time, MSO introduces raised texturing within the paint itself. A tactile, dimensional effect inspired by the layered movement of Nat Bowen’s resin artworks. This detail can be both seen and felt, giving the finish a sculptural quality that amplifies the emotional presence of each palette.
The technique is applied meticulously across the surfaces of the 750S, ensuring that every angle captures the interplay of colour and light. The result is a finish that feels alive in motion, transforming the supercar into a kinetic expression of personal identity.
BESPOKE PALETTES WITH EMOTIONAL PROFILES. COLOUR AS PERSONAL IDENTITY
Every 750S in the series receives a unique MSO palette created through a controlled layering process that defines its emotional profile. Nat Bowen’s chromatic themes, from calming, meditative tones to bold, high-energy hues, are reinterpreted into vibrant, light-reactive finishes that shift in intensity depending on viewpoint and environment.
This approach reflects MSO’s belief that bespoke design can be a powerful tool for personal expression. Each palette becomes a narrative, shaped not only by visual aesthetics but by the emotional resonance that colour carries for its owner.
The palette’s central tone extends into the details of the car, ensuring that its identity is expressed in every element of the design.
24-CARAT GOLD PLATED BADGING. EXCLUSIVITY IN EVERY DETAIL
For the first time on a 750S, MSO introduces hallmarked 24-carat gold plated badging, featured on the front, sides and rear of each commission. Exclusive to this collaboration, the front badge is backed with a colour precisely matching the central hue of the car’s palette. This refinement underscores the bespoke nature of each car, where every detail down to the smallest accent is treated as an extension of its chromatic identity.
AN ARTWORK FOR EVERY OWNER. A PHYSICAL REFLECTION BEYOND THE CAR
Each commission is accompanied by an original artwork created by Nat Bowen, providing owners with a physical counterpart to their vehicle’s palette. The artwork serves as a personal interpretation of the chromatic theme, extending the emotional and artistic narrative beyond the car itself.

- Ummm I’ve been racing over 20 years.. McLaren, Porsche, Lamborghini etc.. mmmm WTH is that? 😮 The 750S / 765LT has beautiful metal flake in some colors. Blue, Green & Orange hues …etc. visible especially in the Sun….this looks like a jig saw art puzzle. Maybe some of the MSO fades would’ve been better also.- Awesome McLaren, to take her work as an artist and blend it in with your beautiful rolling art is absolutely amazing to say the least. This is the kind of projects that really mean something and speaks volumes to the type of company you are. Well done and look forward to more!
- Ok, This is just bonkers at this point, it should be illegal for a car to look this good! Keep it up Mclaren!
