SAFETY
Make the most of your driving experience with safety and driver assistance technologies* designed to help make you and your companions feel safe, secure and confident.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL
Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to set a cruise control speed and automatically follow a detected vehicle ahead at a driver-selected following gap. If no vehicle is detected in your path, the feature works like regular cruise control. You can always override the feature and take control.
ENHANCED AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING
At speeds above 2 mph, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a detected vehicle you’re following. Radar and camera technology are used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.
ENHANCED AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST
Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can automatically steer, brake and shift gears to park your vehicle into a detected parallel or perpendicular parking space while you’re in the driver’s seat. It can also help you unpark. You must always be prepared to override the feature and take control.
FRONT PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLIST BRAKING
At speeds between 5 and 50 mph, Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a pedestrian it detects directly in front of you. It provides alerts and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. It has limited nighttime and low-visibility performance.
INTELLIBEAM
At speeds above 25 mph, IntelliBeam can automatically turn the vehicle’s high beams on and off according to surrounding traffic conditions.
REAR CAMERA MIRROR
Rear Camera Mirror uses a camera to provide you the option of using a wide and less-obstructed view behind your vehicle while driving instead of a traditional rearview mirror. The feature also allows brightness, vertical tilt and zoom adjustments.
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC BRAKING
When you’re in reverse, Rear Cross Traffic Braking alerts you and automatically provides hard emergency braking to help prevent a collision with detected vehicles crossing behind you.
REAR PEDESTRIAN ALERT
When you’re in reverse, Rear Pedestrian Alert can alert you to detected pedestrians directly behind your vehicle. It has limited nighttime and performance.
REVERSE AUTOMATIC BRAKING
Reverse Automatic Braking alerts you and/or automatically provides hard emergency braking to help avoid collisions with detected vehicles and objects directly behind you when you’re in Reverse.
SAFETY ALERT SEAT
Safety Alert Seat uses left-, right- or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you detect and identify the direction of potential crashes. You can also switch to beeping crash-avoidance alerts.

- Hummer removed the apple car play on the 2026 Models, this is crazy, you can still install Waze or google Maps but they act weired, no Satellite view allowed on google map, also they removed the nice animatd view for mode selection, technology supposed to improve in the new vehicles not go back to stone ages.- Any word on previous Hummer Ev's (2020-2025) being able to receive either an ota update or hardware upgrade to be capable of Bi-Directional charging?
- 2026 will have onboard inverter of 120/240 volt which will allow to use the battery from the vehicle to run your house/ power 120/240 volt items while camping? Is this what you mean bi directional? The Chevy EV has this capability already. Not sure why the hummer engineers have not made this an option already. If this true about the hummer. I would order one today. Built one on the hummer website. Says nothing about this option
