Yes, the 2026 Isuzu D-Max pickup truck has been officially revealed, featuring a rugged new design, advanced off-road technology, and upgraded interior comforts. Key Features and Specifications

The 2026 Isuzu D-Max builds on its reputation for durability and reliability with a focus on blending toughness with modern technology and enhanced safety.
Engine Options: It is available with a choice of powerful and fuel-efficient turbo-diesel engines, including a new 2.2L variant (120kW/400Nm) and the existing 3.0L (140kW/450Nm) engine. An all-electric D-Max EV version has also been revealed for a mid-2026 launch in some markets, featuring a dual-motor setup for a combined 140kW/325Nm output and a claimed 263km range.
Transmission: Manual transmission options have been largely removed, with the new models primarily using an 8-speed automatic transmission for the 2.2L engine and a 6-speed automatic for the 3.0L, both designed for smooth power delivery.

Exterior: The exterior features a tougher, more aggressive look with a larger front grille, sharp LED headlights, muscular wheel arches, and higher ground clearance, emphasizing its off-road capability. Interior: The cabin is upgraded for a more premium feel, with durable materials, supportive seats, improved sound insulation, a larger touchscreen infotainment system (up to 12-inch), and enhanced connectivity with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety and Technology: The D-Max comes equipped with the Isuzu Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS), which includes advanced features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree camera system.
Capability: It maintains a strong towing capacity of up to 3,500kg and a payload of over 1,000kg (one tonne), suitable for heavy-duty use. Advanced off-road technology such as selectable terrain modes, hill descent control, and a rear differential lock further enhance its all-terrain performance.
Market Availability The 2026 Isuzu D-Max models are currently rolling out to showrooms in various markets, including Australia, with sales commencing in late 2025 and continuing into 2026. While Isuzu has a limited presence in the U.S. passenger vehicle market, the new D-Max is positioned as a strong contender in the global midsize pickup segment.
