The design philosophy focuses on combining long-range efficiency with high-performance capability, positioning the P7 as a technologically advanced electric sedan for both daily driving and enthusiast appeal. In terms of performance, the P7 Long Range and Ultra-Long Range models use a rear-wheel-drive setup producing 270 kW (367 hp), achieving 0–100 km/h times of 5.8 seconds and 5.4 seconds respectively, with a top speed of 230 km/h. The P7 4WD Performance variant adds dual-motor all-wheel drive, boosting output to 437 kW (586 hp) and cutting the 0–100 km/h sprint to just 3.7 seconds.
For efficiency-focused users, the P7+ EREV pairs a 180 kW electric motor with a 1.5L range-extender engine rated at 110 kW, offering a top speed of 200 km/h while prioritizing long-distance usability over outright acceleration. Battery and charging technology are major highlights, with BEV models offering 74.9 kWh LFP or 92.2 kWh NMC battery packs delivering CLTC ranges of up to 702 km, 820 km, or 750 km, depending on configuration, while the P7+ EREV provides up to 430 km of pure electric range and a combined driving range of approximately 1,550 km. Thanks to the 800V architecture, BEV variants support peak DC charging power of up to 486 kW, enabling around 525 km of range to be added in just 10 minutes.
Inside, the P7 features a high-tech cabin with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay, an optional 87-inch AR head-up display, and a 23-speaker Dynaudio audio system with Dolby Atmos, complemented by comfort features such as zero-gravity seating, soft-close doors, active noise cancellation, and an advanced camera-and-radar-based XNGP assisted driving system powered by triple Turing AI chips delivering 2,250 TOPS of computing power.
The 2026 XPeng P7 and P7+ represent a major evolution in electric sedans, offering both BEV and EREV powertrain options. The BEV version delivers up to 725 km of range, while the EREV version can reach an impressive 1,550 km combined range, making it one of the longest-range sedans available today. XPeng has redesigned the exterior with full-width LED lights, refined aerodynamics, and sleek bumpers, giving the sedan a more modern and cohesive look.
Inside, the 2026 P7+ emphasizes cutting-edge technology, including advanced vision-based driving assistance systems, AI-powered navigation, and an intuitive digital cabin designed for comfort and convenience. Built on the SEPA 2.0 platform with 800V architecture and 5C ultra-fast charging, the P7+ ensures efficiency and practicality for both daily commuting and long-distance travel.
XPeng is making a bold global push, launching the P7+ simultaneously in 36 countries, signaling its intent to compete with top-tier electric sedans worldwide. - Great to see P7+ being offered here in Europe, now I can't wait for the perfection of the new P7 to hopefully come here too😍😍⚡⚡⚡- People don't really understand that you can't find these "features" in stable brands , because at the end of the day - after millions cars sold, they are mostly party tricks. Also, it overcomplicates and induces more failure points than needed.
- Good to see a Chinese manufacturer finding a decent design language. So many Chinese EVs, while technologically advanced, have looked really odd thus far.
