Intelligence & Technology
The 2026 P7+ is powered by a trio of Turing AI chips, providing up to 2,250 TOPS of computing power to support urban and highway autonomous driving. It continues to use a vision-based autonomous system, moving away from LiDAR.
The 2026 XPeng P7 is a next-generation electric sedan built on XPeng’s new 800V high-voltage platform, offering exceptional performance, efficiency, and charging speed. It comes in two configurations — a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version with a 270 kW motor and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) version producing a combined 437 kW (586 hp). Depending on the model, it uses either a 74.9 kWh LFP or a 92.2 kWh NMC battery, delivering up to 820 km of range on the CLTC cycle. The P7 supports 5C ultra-fast charging, allowing rapid power replenishment for extended journeys. With a top speed and smooth acceleration, the 2026 XPeng P7 combines cutting-edge electric power with elegant design and long-distance capability.
Larger and more aerodynamic than before, the 2026 XPeng P7 measures 5,017 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,427 mm in height, with a long 3,008 mm wheelbase that ensures spacious interiors. Its exterior showcases the “Xmart Face” design, featuring a continuous light bar, H-shaped lighting signatures, and sleek flush door handles. The Wing Edition adds dramatic scissor doors, emphasizing XPeng’s futuristic styling. With an impressive drag coefficient of just 0.201 Cd, the P7 maximizes aerodynamic efficiency. Inside, it offers a minimalist “Technology Island” cockpit, featuring an 87-inch AR-HUD co-developed with Huawei, a 10.25-inch driver display, and a movable 15.6-inch 3D central touchscreen that enhances the digital driving experience.
Underpinning its advanced technology is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P processor paired with XPeng’s in-house Turing AI chips, enabling seamless operation of the vehicle’s intelligent systems. The P7’s autonomous driving setup relies on a vision-only system that includes three 4D millimeter-wave radars, 12 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors for high-level driver assistance. Inside, the 23-speaker Dynaudio sound system with Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 surround sound creates an immersive audio environment. The cabin prioritizes comfort with premium materials, heated and ventilated massaging seats, a heated multifunction steering wheel, and a panoramic glass roof, making the 2026 XPeng P7 both technologically advanced and luxuriously refined.

- The car looks amazing! At the end of the day, any Chinese brand needs to build trust, and that takes time. As a European, I expect efficiency over the years and a reliable companion even after 10 years. For reference, my old Toyota Prius was converted into a plug-in solar car—yes, solar! But the big questions remain: can this brand last over a decade? Will it age well? And can I resell it in a few years without losing too much money? Thanks for sharing!- Thank you for this nice Video. If available in Germany I buy it as soon as possible
- The XPeng brand has a very bad reputation in Russia, where Chinese models show the absence of anti-corrosive treatments on the metal parts, leaving the useful life of the vehicle at just 5 years, when they are completely rusted; a European model has more than twice the useful life.
