Humanoid robots are officially building BMW vehicles. For the first time in Europe, BMW has launched Physical AI in real production at its Leipzig plant.
This breakthrough brings together artificial intelligence, humanoid robotics, and advanced automotive manufacturing. BMW is integrating AI enabled robots into high voltage battery assembly and vehicle component production, following a successful deployment in Spartanburg where a humanoid robot supported over 30,000 BMW X3 builds in 10 months.

- At the end of the day let's face it ...this a move towards the end of human labour within industries it's happening at Tesla (who are basically going to now phase out manual cars that are purchased and bring in their autonomous taxis) it's happening in other manufacturing sectors too. So now this maybe just the firatateps but the AI they are involving to these first step robots mean just one thing....the idiots at the top are money hungry and get rid of you, us, human labour will save them BILLIONS and enable them to rid the factories and I dutroes of unions too another big weight on their shoulders financially and mentally. Let's just get things straight up right now the end of man's workforce on this planet is at its beginning, and those idiotic greedy execs will have none to fix their homes or do the work when it all goes wrong nor will there be anyone to take up their mantles when they are gone.... Let's face it they took will be out of a job after ten years because once they make THAT much money (which they will due to us all being struck off) they won't want to work or turn up for it again the stock markets will be AI run and make more than the human exchangers....so money will quadruple but only for the selected few IE the Execs..... We are maybe 10 years away from worldwide poverty beginning .....all thanks to the innovative yet,..also the greed of those at the top to get more richer than they ever can do in a human workforce place now.- True, but perfectly capable robots are not achieved on day one. It's a development, and you have to start somewhere. First cars were clumsy, slow, difficult to operate and unreliable. First mobile phones where huge bricks. It's always the same with new technology, and how could it be different?
- How about they stop making crappy cars with plastic parts under the hood that don't last and require STEALERSHIPS to make expensive repairs.
No thanks I will just keep my Tesla. Over 50k miles maintenance and original tires.
