Exterior and Chassis Updates
The 2026 model introduces a redesigned front fascia featuring a larger V-Motion grille and recontoured lower bumpers. Functional and cosmetic changes include:
Wheel Options: New 20-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are now standard on the Tekna grade.
Trim Finishes: Gloss black accents have been applied to the wheel arches, side sills, and mirrors.
Lighting: The rear features updated full-LED taillights with a revised light signature.
Color Palette: Two new exterior paint options, Sukomo Blue and Coastal Dune, have been added, with two-tone configurations available.

Interior Configuration and Amenities
The cabin retains its 40/20/40 sliding second-row utility while introducing updated materials designed to improve perceived quality.
Materials: New options include chestnut brown quilted leather, synthetic leather, and a brown wood-effect console trim.
Standard Features: Across the range, the X-Trail includes heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and three-zone climate control.
Audio: A 10-speaker BOSE premium audio system and a heated windscreen are standard on the Tekna grade.

Technology and Connectivity
The most significant internal update is the transition to NissanConnect with Google built-in. This integration allows for:
Native Apps: Direct access to Google Assistant, Google Maps, and the Play Store via the 12.3-inch infotainment screen.
Voice Control: Natural language commands for vehicle functions, such as adjusting the ventilation or heated seats.
OTA Updates: Over-the-air software capabilities to ensure the system remains current without dealer visits.

Driver Assistance Systems
The 3D Around View Monitor has been upgraded with wide-angle cameras to support new viewing modes:
Invisible Hood View: Utilizes predictive processing to display the front wheel placement on the central screen.
T-Junction View: Provides a 180-degree forward perspective for emerging from blind intersections.
ProPILOT Assist: Updated for smoother braking/acceleration and more accurate traffic sign recognition.

Powertrain: e-POWER and e-4ORCE
The 2026 X-Trail utilizes Nissan's e-POWER system. Unlike conventional hybrids, the internal combustion engine acts solely as a generator for the battery, while the electric motor exclusively drives the wheels.
Drive Feel: Provides instant torque and linear acceleration similar to a battery electric vehicle (BEV).
All-Wheel Drive: The optional e-4ORCE dual-motor system manages power distribution to all four wheels to improve stability and traction in varying road conditions.
The N-Trek Grade
The N-Trek trim returns with a focus on durability for outdoor use. Specific features include:
Water-Resistant Upholstery: Seats are finished in CellCloth®, a waterproof material designed for easy cleaning.
Protection: Standard rubber floor mats and a reversible cargo liner.
Aesthetics: "Magma Red" bumper inserts and darkened Nissan logos.

- The constant jumping of the RPMs is a bit confusing. They should have a power generation gauge, not an RPMs one. We naturally associate RPMs with wheels spinning faster, and this is not associated with the transmission...
- Plus i noticed from the video when on the motorway the rev gauge bounceing from the engine cutting in and out... thats also fcking annoying.... give me a 2019 mean looking xtrain 2.oltrs diesel 190ps auto.... might only get 33mls to the gallon on a good day.... i got 520ish to a tank.... would wipe the floor of thys hybrid...,plus i got 145mph outta her 😂😂 what would you get ouutta this 115mph
- I bought a 2024 e4orce e-Power and with the epedal on travelling over 450km, the fuel consumption was around 5.7litres/100kms. And this has been pretty consistent over these kms travelled. It really is a luxury, smooth powerful car
