Vicki Butler-Henderson drives the Ferrari Amalfi, Ferrari’s new grand tourer that replaces the Roma. Powered by a revised 3.9 litre twin turbo V8 producing 640hp, the Amalfi focuses on balance, usability and everyday confidence without losing Ferrari performance.

It features subtle exterior changes, revised aerodynamics and a refreshed interior, including the welcome return of physical buttons on the steering wheel and a proper aluminium start button. The dual display cabin brings updated technology and improved usability, while retaining the elegance expected of a Ferrari GT.

The Amalfi rides on 20 inch wheels, with Michelin tyres available as a factory fit option developed in collaboration with Ferrari, designed to support its balance between comfort, grip and handling on real roads.

Vicki also tests the Amalfi’s launch control system, exploring how it delivers its power from a standstill, how easily it can light up the rear tyres, and how controlled it feels when traction is pushed to the limit.

- The car sounds quite civilized. This is thé Ferrari for the distinguished gentleman/lady.
- looks too boring/generic to be a ferrari , Ferrari is supposed to having a show stopping design, people would probably walk pass this on the street
- this is actually the prettiest front engine modern ferrari, I dont' understand the hate. Even solve the quirks and annoyance of existing ferraris by having buttons on the steering wheel and not forced to have a black panel on the front and back. Kept the v-8, no hybrid, C'mon

- So basically it’s the Roma with better infotainment.. someone on YouTube needs to place both cars side by side lol .. the sad truth is why would anyone buy the model everyone says is the beginner model the poor man’s Ferrari but the price tag with few options costs over 300,000 dollars ?? The salesman literally tell you it’s the perfect wife’s car lol …
