The facelifted 2027 Chrysler Pacifica has been revealed as a mid-cycle update aimed at extending the life of the brand’s long-running minivan, though the changes are largely cosmetic rather than mechanical.

The most significant revisions are found at the front, where the Pacifica adopts a more modern design with vertical LED headlights, a full-width light bar, and an illuminated grille featuring a glowing Chrysler badge.

These updates give the vehicle a more contemporary and upscale appearance, aligning it with current automotive design trends, while the rest of the exterior, including the side profile and much of the rear, remains largely unchanged aside from minor lighting and trim adjustments.

Inside, the updates are minimal, with the cabin mostly carried over from previous versions. Small tweaks such as new trim finishes and subtle branding changes do little to disguise the aging dashboard layout and infotainment setup, which remain fundamentally the same as before.

This reinforces the impression that the facelift is intended as a light refresh rather than a full redesign. Chrysler has also simplified the lineup by replacing the outgoing Voyager with a new entry-level Pacifica trim, streamlining the range without introducing major new features or technologies.

Under the hood, the Pacifica continues with its existing powertrain options. The standard gasoline model is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar v 6 engine producing 287 horsepower and 355 Nm of torque, paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and available in both front-wheel drive and optional all-wheel drive configurations.

A plug-in hybrid variant remains available as well, combining a V6 engine with dual electric motors for a total system output of 260 horsepower and offering roughly 30–33 miles of all-electric range.

Fuel economy for the gasoline version remains around 19 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.

Overall, the refreshed Pacifica represents a conservative but strategic update, focusing on visual modernization and lineup adjustments while retaining its existing platform, interior, and mechanical components, allowing Chrysler to keep the model competitive without the cost of a full redevelopment.

The refreshed Chrysler Pacifica returns for 2027 with updated styling, improved features, and the same family-focused versatility that has made it one of America’s most popular minivans. Revealed at the New York Auto Show, this latest update marks the second major refresh since its debut, bringing a more modern and refined look to the lineup.

The exterior now features a redesigned front fascia with an illuminated Wing logo, full LED headlights, and a distinctive light signature that will define future models from Chrysler. Higher trims stand out with unique styling elements, including premium finishes and new 20-inch alloy wheels, while a standard power liftgate adds everyday convenience.

Under the hood, the Pacifica continues with its reliable 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, delivering 287 horsepower paired with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive or optional all-wheel drive for added capability.

Inside, the cabin offers premium comfort with features like heated seats, ventilated front seats on higher trims, and quilted Nappa leather upholstery. The innovative Stow ’n Go seating system remains a highlight, providing unmatched flexibility for passengers and cargo.

With updated design, practical features, and competitive pricing, the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica continues to deliver a strong blend of comfort, space, and everyday usability for modern families.

- I encourage you to consider enhancing the brand’s presence and reputation for Chrysler. Relying on a single vehicle model over an extended period may limit the brand’s market appeal. A potential strategy could involve repositioning Chrysler as a premium "people mover" brand by rebadging the new Ram ProMaster City as a sophisticated successor to the classic Town & Country, thereby revitalizing the model and strengthening brand recognition.

- Cool car. I own Pacifica 2018 and i;m glad. But that new nose.. i dont know. It looks like Hyundai or something chinese. Pacifica deserves more classy look.
