New Honda HR-V SUV 2026 | ShortsCars

The wait is finally over, and Honda is playing an entirely new game. The 2027 Honda HR-V has officially arrived, and it's not trying to be a sports car or a hardcore off-roader. Instead, this reimagined crossover focuses on something far more intelligent: effortless adaptation to your daily life. In this exclusive deep-dive, we take you inside the HR-V's serene new exterior design, featuring a clean face with slim LED headlights and a sleek coupe-like silhouette. Step inside to discover the true wow moment—a low, horizontal dashboard, premium soft-touch materials, Honda's clever Magic Seats for unmatched cargo versatility, and an airy cabin with available panoramic roof. Under the hood, expect a refined 2.0-liter engine (around 158 hp) with a smooth CVT, plus a hybrid variant likely joining the lineup. We also break down expected pricing starting near $25,000, positioning it against the Toyota Corolla Cross, Subaru Crosstrek, and Kia Seltos—winning on polish, interior space efficiency, and quiet confidence. This HR-V doesn't shout; it serves. And that changes everything for Honda.

REAR SEAT OCCUPANT REMINDER
The Rear Seat Occupant Reminder is a new safety feature available in The All-New Honda HR-V. The driver is notified to check the rear seat when the ignition is turned off to prevent any rear occupants being left behind in the car before the car is locked. This is especially helpful for families with small children and pets.

- Hi I got a 26 Hrv sport last month and after 750 miles it says im averaging 21mpg. Are you doing a lot of commuting or do i have an issue?
- That is really low. Ours is being used primarily as a commuter in speeds of 35 to 50. No road trips yet so the jury is still out with highway mpg.
- This car is sold here in Brazil as ZR-V. It's rare to see it on the streets. It wasn't well received here. Our HR-V, on the other hand, is the European version and sells very well.
- Hey I got a really cool video idea if you can do it.. it’s a lot to ask but, can you do it at night, top speed, and moving the camera around and we only see the top of the steering wheel without hands. Would make an awesome video for an edit too!! When I say move the camera around, I mean like turning slowly left or right to see out the windows. Maybe even Rev it to the max or something in the middle of the video? That would be awesome!!! There are probably a lot of things you can’t do but if you can, then that would be amazing, thanks if you do :)
