- Having the car since one week now, it is very unfortunate that you cannot quickly turn off the lane keeping. In smaller city streets with bad marking the car goes everywhere and you are trying to fight with it. Would need a dedicated speed control only mode!- And that is exactly why I simply can not stand "modern" control systems in almost all new cars, too many screens and too few physical buttons. Ideally all commonly used functions should have dedicated physical controls. Much much faster and easier to manage as a driver than fiddling about with a touchscreen. An unfortunate trend started by Tesla and copied by nearly all brands. I always maintain that if a manufacturer wants to differentiate themselves as "luxury" or "premium" than the way to do that is with the use of premium materials including for controls, not by eliminating controls.
- You can turn it off by clicking on the symbol on the left of your screen (the one that is flashing when there is a steering Intervention). That's the shortcut for deactivation. You can also create a startup routine where you deactivate the lane keeping and the speed warning as well. When starting the vehicle it asks you if it should run your routine, with one click it will then deactivate all the selected functions.
