INFO LEXUS has been exhibiting at Milan Design Week since 2005.
Milan Design Week is one of the world’s largest design events, held in Milan, Italy, from April 21, Tuesday to April 26, Sunday, 2026.

riven by LEXUS relentless pursuit of new value of mobility, this year’s installation “SPACE” is an immersive interpretation of space within a luxury lifestyle inspired by the LEXUS LS Concept. Combining 360-degree visuals with sound and lighting, the work places visitors at the center of a future vision of space.

Mobility is evolving beyond transportation into a platform for expanding human experience with greater freedom. As land, sea, and air become seamlessly connected, movement transcends the act of reaching a destination, becoming an experience that enriches life itself.

Sending the message to “DISCOVER” and “Imitate No One”. Lexus is committed to connecting Lexus-like innovation to design. What is the new form of luxury? As we reimagine our flagship, the Lexus LS, we are guided by the idea of DISCOVER SANCTUARY, exploring a new definition of luxury space where you can truly relax, like your own private sanctuary.

To create a comfortable space, we kept a commitment to using Japanese cedar, Bamboo, URUSHI and other domestic materials along with a blend of tradition and innovation. All of this is connected to our customers’ discovery of a new luxury lifestyle.

We break down how Lexus moved from “Luxury Sedan” to “Luxury Space,” explore the six-wheel layout and why it matters, review the interior craftsmanship with bamboo blinds and panoramic glass roof, and examine the motivation behind positioning a van as the brand’s new flagship. You will also see how this fits into the shifting global luxury market where comfort, space and quiet are becoming king. Let us know in the comments what you think: could a six-wheeled luxury van replace a traditional flagship sedan? - The world wants driverless vans and we want houses on wheels or an SUV that comes shaped like a jellybean with the name "sport" or " coupe" attached to it. But in reality everyone just wants a beautiful 2 seater luxurious sports car!
- If the definition of a luxury car is its sheer size, then a city bus should be the most expensive vehicle on the road. We certainly don't need a bus in the Lexus lineup.
- None of these concepts scream LS to me. Cool vehicles! But maybe not LS or GS or IS or SC or ES. Maybe HS or CT if we simply have to use a revived car name to name these MPVs.
