- Don't listen to anyone in the comments who is going on about 300+ km range. That's not what this vehicle is meant for, and you know it.I hope you build this on a dedicated platform (400V/800V), keep the range for city driving (150km is fine) so that you costs stay minimum. What is needed is inexpensive EVs. Don't bloat it out with features. Put features in that make sense and don't require anything more than slight assembly line modifications.
The only wishful thinking I have is that you go with a Saab Emily GT style design with in-hub wheel motors to maximize the space for the batteries and interior.
Looking forward to the final product.
- I’ve always been obsessed with smart cars growing up and this year I’m getting my license so this is perfect timing I’m so excited 😍
- Hmm, cool! Looking forward to the production version and some more pedestrian colourways 😉 Oh and for anyone who cares, the coordinates in the headlight are the Mercedes-Benz location in Sindelfingen (near Stuttgart)
1. Bring the whole smart #1 2 3 5 lineup back to USA-CAN-AUS-NZ
2. Pls god let this car have the same range as a Tesla (500km+). I love my 2018 EQ but the range is so abysmal that i end up having to uber for longer trips. Anything under 500km in a single charge in 2026 is DOA regardless of car size
The headlights and design look awesome PLS dont screw this up, smart!
