The Ferrari Luce full reveal | ShortsCars

Meet the Ferrari Luce in its fullest expression: delivering unmistakable Ferrari performance and, above all, emotion.
With four electric engines, one per wheel, the Ferrari Luce, here in Azzurro La Plata, delivers precise control, instant response, and extraordinary driving dynamics, with 1050 cv and going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Beyond that, Ferrari’s Torque Shift Engagement system introduces a new layer of interaction, allowing the driver to shape acceleration through paddle inputs.
And that’s not all. A high‑capacity battery of 122 kWh and an 800 V architecture enable fast charging up to 350 kW and a range of over 530 km, balancing performance with long-distance capability, while a new Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) coordinates every system in real time, updating dynamics 200 times per second for a uniquely responsive driving experience.
The Ferrari Luce clearly represents Ferrari’s philosophy of addition, not transition - designed to be functional and intuitive, it expands the range while preserving pure Ferrari emotion, as a testimony to Ferrari’s principle of technology neutrality.

MORE INFO
Ferrari has opened a new chapter in its history with the Luce, its first fully electric production model and one of the most technically ambitious road cars yet from Maranello.

Presented as a continuation of Ferrari’s performance tradition rather than a break from it, the Luce brings the brand into the battery-electric era with a focus on speed, driver engagement, craftsmanship and advanced digital design.

The Luce is built around a dedicated electric architecture and uses a quad-motor all-wheel-drive system, with one electric motor driving each wheel.

Total output is reported at about 1,035 horsepower, giving the car supercar-level performance despite its four-door layout. Ferrari claims the Luce can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of about 310 km/h, or 193 mph.

Power comes from a large 122 kWh battery pack, with estimated range figures of around 280 miles on the EPA cycle or more than 330 miles under European testing standards.

Ferrari has also developed a distinctive EV sound system that uses mechanical sounds from the electric drivetrain rather than relying only on artificial engine noise, aiming to preserve the emotional feedback associated with the marque.

Inside, the Luce introduces a new design language shaped in collaboration with LoveFrom, the studio associated with Jony Ive and Marc Newson.

The cabin combines digital displays, OLED screens, physical controls and rear-seat interfaces, giving the car a more practical and technology-forward character while keeping the driver at the center of the experience.

Expected to sit at the top of the luxury EV market, the Ferrari Luce is reported to cost more than €500,000, with deliveries planned from late 2026.

Its arrival signals Ferrari’s careful move into electrification, balancing battery-electric performance with the brand’s long-standing identity built around speed, emotion and exclusivity.

- all you can do is laugh at this point. they can't be serious with this nonsense. no way they all sat at the table looked at this thing and said " yup this is fantastic, let's go ahead with it"
- i mean honestly ferrari as a company is Awesome but this car is just not good, i dont know what you guys were thinking about. Its a very good electric car but its ruining ferraris sporty image. Take porsche for an example. Before everybody saw a porsche and was looking at a sports car but now its just luxury cars. Ferrari, never do this again. PLEASE.

- I'll be honest, I can't wait to see the performance on track. I like this new style and look. It is just the beginning
- being EV does not mean it has to be this ugly. Interior good job , Exterior - scrap it right away and keep your DNA - what you have done is disgusting even for 60k EV standard.
- Did your designers ordered this model from TEMU, its the UGLIEST FERRARI EVER, you'll see this car design running around in China as Taxi and Uber😂
- You know there’s an actual engineering team at Ferrari that allowed this to happen and surely they knew that this would be a complete flop and failure, but they wanted to see it come to fruition just to prove themselves correct.

With that said as much of a failure, as this is, there is so much funny money in this world that people don’t know what to do with , and I can assure you they will be sold out for years and years to come😅

- Let’s be for real here Sergio Pininfarina is like the Steve Jobs of Ferrari because of his innovative visionary approach to making one of the most iconic sports car designs in automotive history like the 1967 Ferrari Dino 206, the 1984 Ferrari Testarossa , the 1987 Ferrari F40 & the 2002 Ferrari Enzo
