INFO
Ready to Defend Against UAV Threats
DRONE DOME is an end-to-end, combat-proven, modular, off-the-shelf Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) that provides all-weather, 360° rapid defense against hostile drones. Detecting even small targets at over 3.5 km distances, the system neutralizes and intercepts with soft- & hard-kill, inflicting minimal damage to the surrounding environment with maximum safety to friendly aircraft. The comprehensive solution integrates a radar, SIGINT/RF sensor, EO Speed ER sensor, jammer, and C4I Center.

In the DRONE DOME laser-based variant, during the intercept phase, the laser director receives the target position from the C4I, which allocates it to the laser beam effector. It then locks onto and tracks the target, and within a few seconds, the laser beam is transmitted and destroys the target.

Main Capabilities
End-to-End Solution
One system used by a single operator detects, tracks, identifies and neutralizes hostile drones. It detects small targets at more than a 3.5km distance. RF sensor detection of the drones and its operators blocks drone communication channels with Reactive Jamming (RJ) technology. DRONE DOME uses the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS).

- I about died laughing at the end when I saw how the kinetic system worked. All the big players are fighting drones with lasers and nets, etc, and Anduril's just like "What if we ducktaped a brick onto a drone, then flew it into the other drone?" It seems like such a stupid idea, and yet it makes so much sense, especially if the brickdrone (TM) can recover and return. This is probably the most efficient enemy drone killer I've seen thus far. Take down an enemy drone (and probably save the lives of one of your own soldiers at least half the time) for the price it takes to recharge the batteries after a mission. Good job y'all. I hope that you herald a return to competition.

- This is my dream company to work for, when I saw the teaser for that sick front view shot of Anvil at the end of the Ghost 4 video, I knew some sick video was going to drop

- The sentry is the most impressive thing here, to me. I imagine there passing off target detection from radar to vision. Two sentries can triangulate the target with radar, spin the camera to triangulate with vision, and send position updates to Anvil. Then, when Anvil is in range, it's camera takes over. Notice how Anvil attacks from underneath, making visual object detection easier against the backdrop of the sky vs the ground.

- It's simple and efficient, I like it. I imagine armored vehicles of the future will all be equipped with some type of counter drone tech.
I would like to see a lightly armored vehicle similar to a personnel carrier but designed to hold and release a high volume of drones. A quad rotor drone is easy to defend but a swarm would be far more difficult. Simple decoy drones could be employed to draw enemy fire. America's current problem is that our missiles are extremely expensive, often more expensive than the targets they are taking out.
