Audi is currently testing the first ever RS Q5 under camouflage, and based on the latest spy photos we believe that it will look very similar to these renders.
The all new RS Q5 features a much larger front grille, prominent vertical air intakes, widened wheel arches and a more aggressive lower bumper. At the rear, the test vehicles have been seen with the large oval exhaust outlets traditionally associated with Audi Sport’s RS models.
Wider bodywork, larger wheels and substantial drilled brake discs further distinguish the prototype from the regular Q5 and the existing SQ5.
Most probably it will adopt the powertrain from the latest RS 5, combining a 2.9-litre twin-turbo v6 engine producing 510 hp, with a 177 hp electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission.
The total output reaches 640 hp and 825 Nm of torque.
The new model is expected to be revealed by the end of 2026.

Audi's fast wagon is back, and the new RS5 Avant is more of everything. Wheel arches nine centimetres wider than the A5, a grille the size of a small country, and twin pipes that still sound like thunder. But the big news is under the skin, because this is the first RS ever to be a plug-in hybrid.
Don't panic. The petrol V6 and the electric side combine for 470kW, that's 639 horsepower in the old money, and zero to 100 in 3.6 seconds. It'll also run around 80km on electric alone and sip fuel when you want it to. The greenest RS ever, and the meanest.

- Good thing Audi’s sticking to their design language, once again this looks better than the BMW equivalent; even the interior with those screens looks better than the X3- I'm pretty sure the RS5 sedan hits 297 km/h—all because it weighs 15 kg less than the one shown in the video. We're looking at a car that weighs 2,370 kg, whereas the other one weighs around 2,355 kg, so there has to be at least a 1 km/h difference in top speed, haha
- I bought the RS6 C8 new over a month ago. It was the last one available at my dealership. And I'm very happy I chose the RS6 rather than new RS5
- Hahah 3,7 sec 0-100kmh? My RS5 B9.5 Competition is faster. The best time I’ve ever recorded was 3.6 seconds, and that car is still in completely stock condition. So what exactly have they improved on the new model? I can’t think of anything. Except that it weighs almost 700 kg more than its predecessor and still uses the same fuel tank. The thing has a curb weight of 2.4 metric tons. Everyone can imagine for themselves how quickly the tank empties under full load.
By the way, just to put that into perspective: The Ford F-150 pickup truck weighs 2.3 metric tons and is therefore still lighter. Take a look at a picture of the Ford F-150 and then imagine taking this RS5 into the corners. This thing is absolute trash.
The RS5 B10 will also feature the new ADDW surveillance feature throughout the EU. So if you want to be monitored by video around the clock, here's yet another “great” reason to buy it. 😂😂
- Audi literally confirmed the next two years they removing screens bringing bsck buttons bc it makes thr interior looks cheaper and sales went down drastically plus many comments
- Meh. Too heavy - burns through tires faster than the servicing interval. Faster wear on brakes, suspension etc. too
Too much tech and complexity. What’s going to happen in two years time when the battery loses capacity and you’re left lugging around the extra 500kg of dead battery weight?
You’re going to be using more fuel and your sports car will become a useless SUV
Ugly and cheap plastic, yeah I get it the performance is crazy good but the rest of the car is basic. Cheap plastic grill, horrible cheap steering wheel, crap seats. Even a basic Toyota and Nissan has better seats than this, wheels are mid. Bodykit is mid. You’re basically paying just for performance which is a waste, I would rather have 400ish bhp but have a car that looks the part, quality interior, build quality and when it comes down the road it catches your eye and looks good. This just looks like an A5 with 2 big exhausts and a tiny badge on the grill which you can only see from 1 metre away! Crazy to think people would pay the amount of money these retail for!
