New the AMG GT 2-door Coupe | ShortsCars

The all new Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé “Driving Performance is our Passion". The second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT Coupé is the new top model offered by Mercedes-AMG. It combines highly dynamic driving characteristics with increased suitability for everyday use. At market launch, the new AMG GT Coupé will be launched with two performance levels of the AMG 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine. The engines are assembled entirely by hand at the company's site in Affalterbach according to the „One Man, One Engine" principle. In the top model GT63 4MATIC+ (combined fuel consumption 14.1 1/100 km, combined CO, emissions 319 g/km) , the engine delivers 430kW (585hp) and provides a maximum torque of 800Nm over a wide engine speed range from 2,500 to 4,500 rpm. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 3.2 seconds, and the top speed is 315km/h. In the GT55 4MATIC+ (combined fuel consumption 14.1 1/100 km, combined COz emissions 319 g/km), the V8 unit develops an output of 350kW (476hp) and a maximum torque of 700Nm. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes 3.9 seconds, and the top speed is 295km/h.

- I don’t care what anyone says, but I still like the v8 whether it sounds terrible. It deserves an 8 though because the sound is just not as authentic as it should be.
- A small correction if you dont mind. The one with 612 hp is the 63 Pro, the regular 63 has 585 hp. I think the Pro could be a much better choice. More space in the boot, looks much more aggressive and has more engine cooling. My only concern is the build quality as with all these newer amg models. So many cheap plastic parts, floor mats that degrade on their own, leather cracking after 3 months etc. In my country there are several brand new GT's already being offered with 30-40.000 and even display cars/test cars with 55.000 euro discounts!!! Its mad... They lose value like crazy...

- Hybrid means the end of the GT series, they finally ruined this model as well. Buyers of these cars are not looking for a semi hairdryer on wheels with the weight of an elephant and fake details as a reminder of what real cars used to be.
