INFO Body & Styling Features
The styling of the bodywork intentionally conveys a modern image of advanced performance and effective features, while faithfully inheriting the wind-cutting silhouette and overall look for which the Hayabusa is famous.

More than a styling exercise, the Hayabusa features one of the best drag coefficients found on any street legal motorcycle.

The aerodynamic windscreen is shaped to reduce the wind blast to the rider while permitting a good view of the instrument cluster and the passenger seat and grab rail can be replaced by an included, color matched single seat cowl that acts as a lumbar stop adding to the Hayabusa’s performance-related style.

Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) Features
Suzuki Drive Mode Selector Alpha (SDMS-α) system provides the rider a choice of three factory preset and three rider (or user) defined and combined settings of the Power Mode Selector, Motion Track Traction Control*, Anti-lift Control, Engine Brake Control and Bi-directional Quick Shift systems.

The Motion Track Traction Control System (TC)* was designed to provide greater stability and help enable the rider to control the Hayabusa with confidence in varying riding conditions by limiting rear wheel spin.

NEW FOR 2025:
Smart Cruise Control permits the rider to shift up or down using the Bi-directional Quick Shift System without it canceling the cruise control.

The dual mode Bi-directional Quick Shift System (QS) allows the rider to shift up or down, without operating the clutch or changing throttle position. QS Mode 1 replicates a racing-style shifting response, QS Mode 2 offers a shift suited for casual riding.

The Power Mode Selector (PW) permits selection between three different engine output characteristic modes (A, B, and C).
Anti-lift Control System (LF) allows 10 modes of adjustability to help prevent front wheel lift when accelerating.
Launch Control System (LC) helps ensure efficient launch and acceleration from a standing start.
Active Speed Limiter allows the rider to accelerate freely up to the preset speed, but not exceed it.

Motion Track Anti-lock Brake System (MT-ABS**) combines IMU data with front and rear wheel speeds allowing functionality in a straight line or when leaning and turning. The Combined Brake System allows the front brake lever to provide breaking power to the front and rear brakes

The Suzuki Easy Start System starts the motorcycle with a momentary press of the starter button and Low RPM Assist System seamlessly increases engine speed for better operation in stop-and-go traffic or during take-of.

The Engine Brake Control System (EB) is a three mode (and OFF setting) higher the setting, the more the system provides the rider with help to eliminate rear tire sliding or skipping when decelerating.

- The biggest? Did you forget about the Kawasaki ZX-14? the ZX-14 has got more CCs, more power, and it's a bigger. Given it's larger size and upright seating position, it might not be any faster than the Hayabusa. But you can't call the Busa the biggest sport bike. Because it isn't.

- This is one of few which can be used as both a sportbike as well as a cross country cruiser, especially if you spend a few bucks on cross country sprockets like +2 front and -2 rear while retaining original chain length...

- A major problem with all Busas is the hefty look to everything behind the front seat. There is a company I was looking at about 5 years ago which made a custom rear seat, smaller mufflers, rear seat plastics, rear overhang, fender and license bracket. NOT cheap however TRANSFORMS the Busa to a lighter SUPERBIKE look...
