Designed as a bespoke commission for a private client, the HC25 represents a final tribute to Ferrari’s non-hybrid mid-engined V8 cars , combining classic combustion performance with a radically modern design language.
Developed by the Ferrari Design Studio under Flavio Manzoni, the HC25 is based on the Ferrari F8 Spider platform but features an entirely custom exterior and interior.
The car introduces a dramatic dual-volume body design, visually separating the front and rear sections with a sculpted black aerodynamic band that also manages airflow and cooling.
Ferrari incorporated ultra-thin front lighting, vertical boomerang-style LED daytime running lights, and split rear lamps inspired by the latest generation of Ferrari halo cars.
The exterior is finished in a matte Moonlight Grey paint scheme contrasted by gloss-black aerodynamic elements, while the interior continues the theme with yellow graphic accents and custom detailing.
Bespoke five-spoke wheels and yellow brake calipers further distinguish the car from the standard F8 Spider.
Power comes from Ferrari’s 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine mounted behind the cabin, producing 720hp and 770 Nm of torque through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels.
Ferrari claims the HC25 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, reach 200 km/h in 8.2 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 340 km/h.
The engine delivers a specific output of 185 hp per litre, continuing the legacy of Ferrari’s award-winning turbocharged V8 family.
Ferrari describes the project as a bridge between its traditional combustion-engine era and the company’s increasingly electrified future, preserving the raw character of a pure V8 spider in a uniquely tailored one-off model.

- What do you think about the Ferrari HC25? Would you take this over a Ferrari SF90 or do you prefer Ferrari’s older naturally aspirated V8 models? Also, do you think this is truly the end of Ferrari’s pure V8 spider era?- Front gives EV vibes while the side is like an Audi R8 with the stupid black band, and that trying too hard to be simple rear is damn awful with two short dashes, not sure what WTF is Ferrari trying to do LOL. Why can't it just evolve from the Pininfarina design like the 458 and even the 488? Everything else after 488 really looks like shit, sigh.
- No thank you. I think I’ll keep my pre-GPF 2019 812SF with the proper sounding V12 engine. I do like the color on the 12C, though. Ferrari V12’s were not built to sound like vacuum cleaners, sad to say - and hear, unfortunately!
