Stellantis' marketing department is really is not applying critical thinking skills to the U.S. market if they thought it would be good optics to release this vehicle while dealing with the 4th recall for the Jeep Wrangler 4xe.
Owners have to park them outside and away from parking structures but they think that the same market would have any interest in a fully electric SUV from the same brand??
This will also be an SUV that will land on average around the 60k range which in the EV market will drive people right into the waiting arms of the Rivian R2.
At this point it's either delusion or intentional malfeasance to destroy the brand, because this really lacks any real logic.

- Rivian R2 and R3 will crush this. The low range is what will kill it. Jeep enthusiasts will stick with combustion engines for off roading, EV people are more interested in range so they will look to Rivian. They missed on this one.
- As someone who works in sales at a Jeep store, this is another miss from Stellantis. Hardly anyone comes to my store asking for an Ev/ hybrid vehicle especially now that the tax credit is gone. We need AFFORDABLE, gas vehicles to actually compete. This design is beautiful, but full EV to start is a miss.
- It's not a bad concept. I actually like the jeep. however, the range of the vehicle is laughable. Also I think it's a big mistake going fully EV on this particular model for what it is. They should have done a hybrid or with an option V6 for those who want to use this to travel and off-road. If the range was at LEAST 300mi then I'll consider it. Till then, no. Im keeping my 2018 grand Cherokee overland.
- The car is amazing BUT THE RANGE.... what are you doing Stellantis?? By the time someone get out of the city they won't have the range to enjoy and come back. To sell a car like this with less than 320 mile range is a huge huge miss. Under 250 is a deal breaker non-negotiable. but the design team and interior team did a great job. The powertrain team screwed up big time. Nobody asked for 600+ hp - big miss by making it more inefficient

Jeep deserves better & hopefully this battery architecture isn't related to the horrid systems used in other stellantis/jeep vehicles.Firstly this a great design, and the idea of an EV Jeep in the mold generally of the wrangler & renegade is quite tempting but the elephant in the room needs to be addressed before they proceed to release this upon the US Market.
- Rivian R2 and R3 will crush this. The low range is what will kill it. Jeep enthusiasts will stick with combustion engines for off roading, EV people are more interested in range so they will look to Rivian. They missed on this one.
- As someone who works in sales at a Jeep store, this is another miss from Stellantis. Hardly anyone comes to my store asking for an Ev/ hybrid vehicle especially now that the tax credit is gone. We need AFFORDABLE, gas vehicles to actually compete. This design is beautiful, but full EV to start is a miss.
- It's not a bad concept. I actually like the jeep. however, the range of the vehicle is laughable. Also I think it's a big mistake going fully EV on this particular model for what it is. They should have done a hybrid or with an option V6 for those who want to use this to travel and off-road. If the range was at LEAST 300mi then I'll consider it. Till then, no. Im keeping my 2018 grand Cherokee overland.
- The car is amazing BUT THE RANGE.... what are you doing Stellantis?? By the time someone get out of the city they won't have the range to enjoy and come back. To sell a car like this with less than 320 mile range is a huge huge miss. Under 250 is a deal breaker non-negotiable. but the design team and interior team did a great job. The powertrain team screwed up big time. Nobody asked for 600+ hp - big miss by making it more inefficient
