New Mazda 6-E Tech Drive 2026 | ShortsCars

It is a beautiful car, the interior tan is too orange, i prefer red and black sporty interior. The tech of the screen is difficult to use and sluggish, it's also underpowered. Sound system is also very poor. Otherwise beautiful car.

- Nah bring back the press buttons of the rest of your range… and manufacture yourselves in Japan. This isn’t a real Mazda.
- Hi! Long-time fan here — I watch every single one of your videos. Heads up: an account called "Amazing China Tour" posted a video about a day ago titled "Crushing Old-Fashioned Gasoline Cars! Ending the Gasoline Car Era? Australian Car Enthusiasts Experience BYD's Hot Hatch, Leaving Fiat in the dust—This is a Real Car!" I've compared them side-by-side — the footage and structure are directly taken from your original, re-dubbed with an AI voiceover and a rewritten script, and they're monetizing it. This is clear copyright infringement. I'd suggest you: save the comparison screenshots as evidence, file a report through the platform's copyright/originality-protection channel, and pin a post so your fans know. We've got your back — don't let them profit off your work.

- This car is huge. Way too big for the retiree and young drivers. And young families would go for the SUV practicality. You're right to say it's more like a limousine. Driven by a company driver for the boss and his wife. It's marketed in Asia for that purpose. Rear headroom would not be a problem as most bosses there are not over 6ft tall😅

- We'll know when Toyota gets serious about EVs when they start bringing in their Chinese made cars (produced and partnered by GAC, FAW and BYD) into foreign markets. In the meantime they'll continue to present their current ho-hum range which all appear to (almost) be compliance cars which they can present to Governments worldwide and say, we make them but don't sell many... but look over here (squirrel) at these wonderful hybrids we make. While also continuing their "WORLDCLASS" FUD.
Well done Mazda, a small automaker that have consistently hit above their weight division. Kudos to them.

- Interesting that you mentioned the 360 camera system on this. Some companies such as Kia consider that an option only for their high end products. kia don't put them in their Air models, some Earth models and even the EV3 GT-Line at over $68k doesn't get 360-degree cameras. Even the EV9 Air at over $100k misses out.
- Yeah I'm in that category, well the old man bit and an owner of Mazda's over four decades and this car just doesn't do it for me. Its not a Mazda and you don't have to dive very deep into the car to realise it either.
- Yes Martyn, 5.1%, but then Toyota have a stake in many Japanese carmakers. They however, have no strategic control of Mazda. They share some components and hybrid systems and the Mazda 2 was sold in the US for some years as a Yaris.
- That's exactly correct James. They need to keep selling Hybrids as even with their Chinese EVs (which are good) they'd still only be one of dozens of excellent Exporting Manufacturers from China and they'll be fighting for 5% of the market, and that won't keep them the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world. However, in Australia last month, pure EVs took 25% of the total market and near 40% of the private market, so hopefully they're toast until they stop lying and start focusing on providing what the market increasingly wants.

- They are definitely getting harder to park in the city, it was quite stressful having this for a week where I live. I agree, the liftback factor is a huge plus.
- Totally different for me Michael. I never had a problem reaching down and adjusting a manual vent while driving. In the 7X however, because of its (very) poor airflow (agreed by many reviewers), having to go into the screen while driving and trying to adjust direction is such a pain in the butt (and frankly, mostly unsuccessful). Maybe because I have my seat at its highest level, I get less airflow than you, but they are the poorest vents I've had in a car in 20 years.
Other than that, I absolutely love my 7X and can put up with a bit more noise from a higher fan speed for the rest of this superb car (certainly the best I've ever owned and I've had multiple European lux brands).
