DS N°7 carries forward and modernises the winning formula of DS 7: a positioning at the heart of the premium compact SUV segment with features worthy of the class above — from comfort and interior space to boot capacity
DS N°7 E-TENSE has three 100% electric powertrains available with as many power levels: 230 hp for the FWD version, 245 hp for the FWD LONG RANGE version and 350 hp for the AWD LONG RANGE version. The latter combines two electric motors with all-wheel drive to ensure optimal traction in all circumstances.
All of these powertrains have a boost function, providing a brief increase in power. The E-TENSE FWD version can temporarily deliver up to 260 hp, while the E-TENSE FWD LONG RANGE version reaches 280 hp. DS N°7 E-TENSE AWD LONG RANGE sees its power increased to 375 hp in these conditions. This allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, a demonstration of controlled dynamism where power is delivered in a progressive and linear manner, always in aid of occupants’ comfort and well-being.
Also available from launch, DS N°7 HYBRID offers 145 hp and has the lowest CO2 emissions among its direct competitors, between 121 and 127 g/km*. Fuel consumption is 5.4 l/100 km. DS N°7 HYBRID combines a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor, integrated directly into the dual-clutch six-speed automatic gearbox. This architecture allows, in urban or suburban use, to drive up to 50% of the total time in 100% electric mode. The self-charging hybrid system recovers the energy generated during deceleration and braking phases to power the battery, without the need for external charging. Versatile and efficient, this engine is a relevant response to all daily uses.

The true technological heart of the cockpit, DS IRIS SYSTEM 2.0 is the most advanced human-machine interface ever developed by DS Automobiles. Intuitive and personalisable, it works like a smartphone and can be controlled via speech recognition or with the large 16-inch central touchscreen. DS IRIS SYSTEM 2.0 includes ChatGPT which enables a natural conversation to be had with DS N°7. This “all-in-one” architecture includes the audio system (8 speakers or 14 with the ELECTRA® 3D by FOCAL sound system), four USB-C ports, Bluetooth connectivity as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. DS IRIS SYSTEM 2.0 also provides access to services such as the connected alarm or the “Vehicle Health Report”, providing information on the status of the car’s wear and tear parts.

- The DS8 in Jules Verne trim is stunning! Wish it was available in the US.- The DS N8 wasn't extraordinary (it had a bit of a Rolls Royce feel), but I think this DS N7 is a success, it's good. This undertaking, after the beautiful DS7 (previous generation), wasn't easy, and I think the DS team succeeded, they made a beautiful car. Honestly, for me, a car is like Tesla's Cybercab (3 or 5 doors, SUV or not / car-sharing or not). But you've still managed to pique my interest (which doesn't quite reach the level of my interest in the Cybercab, to be honest), so congratulations to the whole team for reaching the top. And maybe future generations of the DS N7 will have autonomous driving (and a retractable or removable steering wheel) 😉.
