Lexus will present the world premiere of “SPACE”, an immersive installation inspired by its flagship Lexus LS Concept, at the 2026 Milan Design Week.

“SPACE” will be unveiled at the leading showcase for international design, taking place in Milan, Italy, from April 21 to 26. It will be presented together with four new works from Discover Together 2026, a collaboration with emerging creators and Lexus in-house designers, at the Superstudio Più in the heart of the city’s Tortona creative district.

“SPACE” and a new era of mobility
Ever since the brand was founded, Lexus has chartered its own course, challenging convention and redefining the principles of luxury mobility. Guided by its innovation mindset, it continues to push the boundaries for better products and services creating new experiences for its customers.

“SPACE” is shaped by Lexus’ constant pursuit of going beyond expectation and centres on the Lexus LS Concept to explore the meaning of “space” in the context of a modern luxury lifestyle.

Today the automotive industry is transitioning from the traditional concept of the car to a new era of mobility and future that will deliver freer movement and enriched lifestyles. Work, personal life and movement are becoming increasingly and seamlessly interconnected, empowering people to pursue lifestyles that can feel more authentic and fulfilling. In this future, mobility transforms from simple transportation into a new experience that reimagines space itself. “SPACE” is an opportunity to discover a new vision of mobility that is yet to be defined.

Discover Together
Launched in 2025, Discover Together is an initiative that brings together emerging creators who resonate with Lexus, transforming the brand’s vision and philosophy from their own perspectives into works that express new values. With the Lexus LS Concept as a shared motif, they have collaborated with Lexus to produce immersive, experiential works that explore the possibilities of space. These works will be unveiled at Milan Design Week 2026.

This year, the participants include include Kyotaro Hayashi and Yumi Kurotani (Japan), Guardini Ciuffreda Studio (Italy), Random Studio (the Netherlands) and a collaborative team bringing together Lexus in-house designers with master artisans of Japanese craftsmanship (Japan).
