Powering the Mona L03 is a front-mounted electric motor producing 183 kW (245 horsepower) and 300 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels for smooth and responsive performance. Buyers can choose between 56 kWh and 69 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs, with the larger battery delivering an impressive CLTC driving range of up to 650 kilometers (404 miles). XPeng is also expected to offer an Extended-Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) version, pairing the same 245-horsepower electric motor with a 1.5-liter gasoline generator to further extend driving distance without sacrificing electric performance.
Inside, the Mona L03 embraces a minimalist, technology-focused cabin that replaces the traditional instrument cluster with a large 15.6-inch 2.5K floating infotainment display and a massive 26.8-inch augmented reality windshield head-up display. Premium materials cover more than 72 percent of the interior, while "Cloud Comfort" and available zero-gravity seats elevate passenger comfort. The cabin also features 23 customizable expansion points for accessories, including magnetic mounts and action camera attachments. Advanced driver assistance is provided by XPeng's VLA 2.0 vision-only system, which relies entirely on high-resolution cameras instead of LiDAR. Higher-spec Max and Ultra SE models are powered by XPeng's in-house Turing AI chips, delivering up to 1,500 TOPS of computing performance to support intelligent urban driving and next-generation autonomous features.

- What a brilliant car. So many useful ideas in such a good sized vehicle. No wonder it has been such a success in China. It is great to see an alteranative to the overspecced gin palace SUVs out there. This is the VW of electric cars.- This car will be approximately 28.5k us$ in egypt same price of dong feng epi 215hp rwd and multi link suspension….. what do you think … it’s hard to choose one
- What an ugly Chinese car. The interior is so boring, the steering wheel without any highlights. From outside it's looks like a cheap Chinese car which will be cost in insurance three times more than a comparable European car.
- European automakers are churning out one car after another—vehicles that look like rabid beavers or acne-ridden catfish—solely to appeal to the Chinese market. Yet why is it that the cars designed by the Chinese themselves feature such sophisticated, minimalist designs?
- At 4,650 mm long it is slightly longer than a GAC Aion V, Geely EX5 and Kia EV5 and slightly shorter than a Subaru Uncharted and Solterra. It would be 16 cm shorter than the G6. ($40k, no, that's a typo) $10k cheaper than the G6 ($55k to $60k) would be a good way to go.
- Chasing Cars has estimated the price at $45k AUD and coming this year to AU market. Competitor for those not wanting to give Elon Musk any money. Finally mechanical door handles outside & inside and easy to operate unlike Kia & Tesla. Zero gravity seats like Hyundai/Kia have done for a few years now even my Kona has them. It's a 400V architecture so about 10-80% in under 30min. Never heard any reviewer call the Heads Up Display an H.U.D. even Tom Baker from Australia doesn't call it that, very unusual.
- I hope after the problems they had with distribution here in Australia they follow a model like Tesla. I prefer dealing direct so much now with the manufacturer that I dont ever want to visit a dealer ever again. The cars Xpeng have are all amazing and will compete even against the mighty Tesla and beat them. Price sensitivity is now a major concern in our market therefore pricing their cars aggressively will help them penetrate the Australian market quickly. Offer great service and price then the sales will flow for Xpeng. Sometimes negative press and a poor start to the market can be turned into a positive outcome especially if you show the market you made a mistake but are prepared to fix it by looking after those that experienced it. Nothing inspires loyalty more than a brands willingness to fix past mistakes as customers will trust that brand not to let them down.
